Language Landscapes | Tirweddau Iaith

During the end of 2023 and into the beginning of 2024, Tic worked alongside directors Izzy Rabey and Alice Eklund on the ‘Language Landscapes | Tirweddau Iaith’ Welsh language audio plays.

Tic’s work on the project included audio recording and engineering, music composition and sound design.

Housemates

Tic worked on the Sherman Theatre & Hijinx Theatre co-production of Tim Green’s play Housemates. For the show, Tic arranged a collection of early 70’s rock songs, provided some original composition as well as creating the sound design for the show as well. Tic worked in collaboration with sound engineer Chris Laurich and musical director James Ifan.

Pijin | Pigeon

Tic created the music and sound design for the Welsh touring production, Pijin | Pigeon. The bilingual show is a Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru and Theatr Iolo production, in association with Pontio.

“If language – and the sound of language – is key, it’s a reflection of the excellent use of sound throughout the production. From birdsong to river-flow, nature plays an integral part in Pijin’s flights of fancy, but the soundscape grows darker as the story progresses” – nation.cymru on the TGC | Theatr Iolo production of ‘Pijin | Pigeon’.
